"After tooling around with getting internet sharing working on the Sprint Mogul for a bit, we discovered this small WMWifiRouter app by Jorrit Jongma. It's pretty much an install and run affair (save a bit of internet connection Wi-fi setup beforehand), but the only thing you have to watch out for is using a static IP address on the device you want to access it with (iPhone/laptop/whatever) because there's no DHCP server present. There's a good guide in the XDA Dev forum as well. The result? A 3G-ish iPhone."

This project has been kicking around for almost a year and is really taking shape. Using Jorrit Jongma's WMWifiRouter app and great instructions at the XDA Developers Forum, you can share your internet connection from your WM 5/6 mobile phone device. As the JiWire post reminds you, this could violate your terms of service or push you past any hidden bandwidth caps so try this with appropriate precaution. Also Werner Ruotsalainen aka Menneisyys has put this through it's paces with a thorough writeup and some helpful setup pictures, like the one above. If the app is useful, be sure to toss Jorrit a little Paypal thanks.
