Monsoon Multimedia Announces Windows Mobile Support for HAVA Devices

"Monsoon Multimedia, a digital video solutions provider, today announced support for Windows Mobile for their HAVA line of next-generation video streaming and place- and time-shifting devices giving consumers more options when choosing how, when and where they view their home video and TV content. On the go users are now able to view and control their home TV from their Windows Mobile phone or handheld computer....The Monsoon HAVA can stream video from any video source including live TV, DVD players and TiVo, to any broadband connected, Ethernet or Wi-Fi enabled PC, notebook or Windows Mobile-based device. Monsoon HAVA technology features unique mirroring and multicasting capabilities allowing multiple users to view TV and video content both remotely and locally simultaneously on PCs or Windows Mobile-based devices."

At WinHEC, Monsoon announced they were adding support for Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC, Pocket PC Phone Edition and Smartphone. Currently, it appears it may still be in beta and you'll need to visit their forums and apply for the beta program.
