Microsoft "Announces" Ofone at MEDC Day One

"Apple has the iPhone, Microsoft has the ... oFone? No, not really, but the company clearly put a lot of effort into a spoof video depicting such a phone -- a fold-out device with circular text display and variable number placement, depending on user preference. It also doubles as a boomerang. Microsoft showed the video during a keynote address by Robbie Bach, president of Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices Division, at the company's Mobile and Embedded Developer Conference this morning."



I love this quote from Jason Langridge's Weblog "This device had a circular screen and it was hilarious to listen to Mel Sampat explaining how developers now need to query the screen radius and circumference in their multiple screen resolution applications" Ahhh, who says software engineering geeks don't have a sense of humor. I'd laugh too, if I understood what it mean. 8O Actually, I wonder if you could tie something like this into Xbox and answer the phone while using it as a weapon. How's that for call return?
