Winners of the Best Software Awards 2006 Announced

"The winners and finalists of the 2006 Sixth Annual Best Software Awards conducted by Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine have been announced at www.pocketpcmag.com/awards. Ninety members of the Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine Board of Experts judged 675 Windows Mobile products in 114 Pocket PC and Smartphone categories to determine finalists and winners. Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine publisher, Hal Goldstein, said that "The annual Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine Best Software Awards helps users select software that best suits their Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone needs by honoring companies that produce outstanding software. The awards process is a huge 6-month undertaking involving the experts of the Windows Mobile community and over 3000 Pocket PC and Smartphone products."
The winners of Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine's Best Software Awards 2006 have just been revealed. The 2007 Buyers Guide, which has been mailed out to subscribers and should appear on newsstands this month, contains comprehensive information on the winners and the finalists, and comments made by the Board of Experts panel. Congratulations to the developers of the applications that scored top spot in their respective categories. :)
