StarPop: A Game to... Pop Stuff!

Astraware's got a great collection of simple, unending puzzle-type games (anyone here played Bejeweled 2 or Chuzzles?) that are great for brainless distraction, such as when you're standing in line. Here's another one that seems to leverage our inner child's (or actual children's) desire to pop stuff!
The game looks whimsical and potentially addictive. Astraware is currently selling the game for $9.95, $10 off the regular price. More interestingly, they've also set up an informational site about the design of the game and the work involved in making it real. Has anyone tried it, and if so, what's your thoughts?
