"Taiwan-based handset vendor Dopod International plans to launch its first GPS-enabled PDA mobile phone by the end of the third quarter or early in the fourth quarter, aiming to strengthen its presence in the consumer segment, according to company sources. The company has so far launched only two models, the P100 and S300, for the consumer segment. The P100, which was launched at the end of last year, has sold well in Taiwan but has met with lukewarm reception in overseas markets, whereas sales of the S300, which was launched in the second quarter of this year, have not yet reached the company's shipment target of 100,000 units, the sources noted."

Details are a little shady, but given Dopod's strong partnership with HTC, we can probably expect this device to be manufactured by the mobile device giant. HTC Trinity, maybe?
