"Mobile operator is now selling the new iPAQ Mobile Messenger Pocket PC Phone Edition to business customers. The new Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition is avalable [sic] at selected IT specialized dealers as part of the T-Mobile "Take-Away" promotion. This offer is aimed at business customers. The Take-Away package includes an inactive SIM card as well as the necessary documentation to enter into a contract with the operator. The HP iPAQ hw6510 Mobile Messenger works on GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks and includes an integrated keyboard, GPS, and multiple messaging capabilities. It runs Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Software Phone Edition, based on an Intel PXA270 CPU at 312 MHz. Users have 64 MB ROM (12MB as a flash storage are) and 64 MB SDRAM with up to 56 MB available. Memory can be expanded through SD (SD/IO supported) and miniSD slots."

As much as I like the idea of the iPAQ Mobile Messenger, it seems ill-timed: I want it running Windows Mobile 5, not the OS from 18 months ago. Still, I'm anxious to get my hands on one for testing because it looks like it will be great for messaging.
