Certainly the Google Desktop Search is an intriguing twist. As for pricing, LapLink has opted to a similar subscription model employed by GoToMyPC. You can opt for the monthly plan of $8.95/month which gives you 1 hour of remote control capabilities per month or if you need unlimited access, you can opt to pay $10.95/month. Annual rates with these same capabilities run $44.95/year and $94.90/year respectively.
