Mobile Crossing Waypoint

"The Mobile Crossing WayPoint is a new kind of PDA that integrates highly effective satellite guided vehicle navigation with a high-performance Windows Mobile 2003 Pocket PC. In addition to moving maps and spoken directions, our navigation device doubles as a fully functional Pocket PC. We lavished careful attention to the maps and points of interest specific to your home area. What this means is that WayPoint has at least 500,000 points of interest (POIs) specific to your home area: shopping, parking, tourism, restaurants, gas stations and ATMs. All of these and more are ready to use. By comparison, Neverlost, a similar product, has the same number of POIs for the entire country. WayPoint is better because it gives you more options and more places to visit for your home area."

If you're in the USA market, Mobile Crossing is on the verge of releasing an all-in-one Pocket PC / navigation solution with their Waypoint range of products. The Pocket PC looks to be the same FIC device Janak wrote about earlier. There will be two versions: the silver colored Waypoint 100 (without Bluetooth) and the Bluetooth colored and enabled Waypoint 200. Waypoint offers full featured navigational software to that, including a huge amount of points of interest, and can get traffic and weather information from the internet.
