New Features For A Familiar Converter

Posted by Brad Adrian in "SOFTWARE" @ 01:00 AM

TranCreative first launched its MxConverter back in 2002, and it quickly became one of the more well-known conversion tools in the Pocket PC World. Now, aiming to maintain its reputation, the company has launched v2.0 of MxConverter.

In addition to the full set of features of the earlier version, this latest update includes:

• A fully programmable conversion database
• Currency exchange rate information featuring 185 currencies that is updated daily
• An integrated calculator with both standard and scientific expression modes
• A free Windows-based desktop version

You can download a free demo version or the full version for only $14.95 from the Handango site. PLUS, if you buy the full version before September 19, you can use the discount code 7B1FAA9F to get an additional $4.00 off the price.

I used to keep a conversion program of one sort or another on my Pocket PC at all times, but really haven't needed to use one much, except to deal with currency exchange rates while traveling internationally. What are some of the kinds of things YOU use conversion software for that you simply cannot do without?
