Pros:
  • Built-in NMEA GPS module and mapping software;
  • Big 1350 mAh battery;
  • Mobile accessories kit.
Cons:
  • No Wi-Fi or Bluetooth;
  • Antenna can be problematic when not in use;
  • Battery is not user-swappable.
Summary:

While GPS solutions for the Pocket PC have existed in the form of connectable devices for some time now, the Mio Digiwalker 168 from Mitac is the first Pocket PC released in the USA with a built-in GPS unit. The combination of GPS, mapping software, and a small size makes for a unique and compelling Pocket PC.
