Unbound Medicine, creators of Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary, have released another product for the Pocket PC.

Unbound Surgery, published by Unbound Medicine, is a unique digital resource that combines evidence-based clinical content and leading-edge technology. Authored by more than 100 experts from top surgery programs, it offers comprehensive information on more than 400 diseases, tests, and interventions in general surgery.

A subscription offers you both a web and a PDA version at the same time. The web version offers text, images and videos, with links to MEDLINE abstracts. The PDA application deals with focused answers to surgical questions, and gives links to the online version for graphics and tables and the ability to formulate your questions for the online service on-the-go. It comes with a hefty price of $99 (but what else was to be expected, if you see the prices of comparable textbooks?). It think this if for a one year subscription, but the webpage is not completely clear about that. You might want to check before you buy.
