CU928 - New Chinese CDMA Pocket PC Phone

Now here's a device I want. A Pocket PC Phone Edition with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. For real! Oh, did I mention it's a CDMA 1xRTT device with Bluetooth?

The device is fairly standard outside that (PXA263 at 400MHz, 64MB RAM/ROM, integrated VGA camera). The interesting part is the services that are going to be bundled. "With powerful streaming media functions, it is the first operator-customized device to support China Unicom’s new U-Web mobile data service...Based on Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PC, CU928 is the first device available to deliver the rich data content to customers taking advantage of Microsoft’s Media Player 9. This will enable customers to watch live TV programs, order videos and movies, and even check real time traffic conditions...Through Mobile Uni-Video, which will be launched soon, customers will be able to see the person they are talking to on the LCD screen of the CU928."

Of course, it's not available in North America. And, with our luck, it'll probably never be available here. :| We can hope, though.
