Pocket PC Thoughts Virtual Museum!

Posted by Steven Cedrone in "OFF-TOPIC" @ 01:45 PM

We've had many discussions here about "What we considered to be our first PDA" and "Which Pocket PC device we own?". These discussions inevitably turn into a list of every PDA we've ever loved/hated! I thought about it last night, and I wondered if most of the readers even knew what a Newton, Rex or even a Sharp Wizard looked like? I decided, the best way wouldn't be to set up a poll and ask, instead, start a thread where everyone could see the devices!

So, would you like to help out? Then, read on and let's get the "Virtual Museum" going!

The Pocket PC Thoughts Virtual Museum 1.0

So just how are we going to create the "Virtual Museum"? It's easy! Just post pictures of your PDA's to this thread. But let's set some rules here (I know, but there had to be a few rules  ):

1) Try not to post duplicates (if it's a different model number, that's O.K.)
2) This is not a graveyard! Only working PDA's should be posted
3) Prove it works: The device should be on! We want to be able to at least see the current date!
4) No pics from other sites, stories, etc.! It has to be your PDA!

Simple enough, right? Well, to get the ball rolling, I humbly submit the following pictures:

The Rex Rex-3

Ipaq Aero 2150

HP Jornada 548

HP Jornada 548 (Dark, so that you can see the writing)

HP Ipaq 2215

3Com Palm Pilot Professional

3Com Palm III

3Com Palm V

Palm Inc. Palm Vx

Palm Inc. Tungsten T
