Warring Nations: Medieval Heroes

Strategy game fans take note! PDArcade has posted a review of Warring Nations: Medieval Heroes. "This game at its simplest level is a strategy game, based on the board game "Risk". Above that simplicity, as you will come to see through reading this preview, is a beautiful, yet repulsively difficult, game of strategic conquest.

Regardless of the difficulty level, the basic aim is always the same- to try and take over the landscape completely, to wash paint over the area in the colour of your team, to vanquish all opponents- and to basically, conquer everything. Like with all those other map based strategy games, the area, which you must take over, has been divided into provinces, which must individually be taken over.

Overall, the gameplay is very similar to many of the other strategy games, however, the developer certainly has left a lot of room for the game's gameplay to evolve bigger and better over time. I look forward to seeing these updates, as they will build upon an already good game, probably making Warring nations a great game for the Pocket PC."

This game looks like a hybrid between "Centurion", "Civilization" and "Castles". The landscape mode is a nice touch, and the graphics look great! The game is also reasonably priced at $12.75 through Handango. [Affiliate] What do you think? Worth a look?
