Laridian Releases Two New Study Aids For Pocket Bible

"Laridian announced today the release of the Bible Knowledge Commentary and the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge for use with PocketBibleR, its software for Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs. These two titles add to the growing list of Bible study resources available for PocketBible and take advantage of the increasingly larger memories and storage cards available with today's Pocket PC devices by offering "full-size" reference power on a mobile device."
The Bible Knowledge Commentary
The Bible Knowledge Commentary is a two volume commentary compressed into a 7.2MB book for Pocket Bible. It covers both the New Testament (usually verse by verse) and Old Testament (usually passage by passage) and works with any Bible translation you have installed. It was designed to work best with the New International Version. If you are using it with another version, just be aware that commentary on the original text and how it was translated may not always match up with the translation you are using. It is $39.99.
The Treasury Of Scripture Knowledge is one massive cross-reference tool containing over 500,000 links that shows you relationships between verses. Considering there are 31,173 verses in the Bible, that works out to an average of 16 cross references per verse. 8O It was originally designed to work with the King James version but will work with any installed Bible translation. Both books work just fine on storage cards and they also require an update to the latest version of Pocket Bible. If you purchase one of these, when you go to download you should also see a new link to download an updated Pocket Bible version.
