PDACorps has a nice review with Mat Ripley, Director and Chief Software Architect for Proporta. Take a look if you're interested in the development process, user feedback, and anything in between.

"PDACorps: What advice would you give to those who wish to embark on PPC development for the first time?

Mat Ripley: Firstly find out if what you want to develop exists already - the chances are that it will. If it doesn't you are lucky. If it does then see if it can be improved. Unlike, say Palm, the PPC software market is very commercially focused - there isn't much freeware. So your applications need to be of a high standard, robust and well thought out. It would also be really advisable to be very competent in MFC programming/Visual C++ before attempting PPC development."
