Superscape is a busy company with many things going on at the same time. The obvious theme of their operations is development of what they call "Interactive 3D" graphics technology. An implementation of this technology is the Superscape's Swerve technology which "has been developed specifically for wireless environments in close collaboration with ARM, and comprises a 3D engine, authoring tools and a range of associated content development and integration services."

Superscape has now released a 3D chess game which resembles Battle Chess in many ways. You start out with a normal chess board, but when you capture a piece, it zooms in and you can watch the pieces battle. The game also has really cool multiplayer support including real-time chess games over the network, buddy lists for frequent opponents, messaging between opponents and so on. I don't know what chess engine this game uses or exactly how strong it is, but it is visually very attractive and provides nice multiplayer possibilities; two quite important aspects to any chess game!
