Ars Technica has published a very practical and easy to understand article called "Security Practicum: Essential Home Wireless Security Practices". If you have a Wireless network at home or at work, I bet you'll find great ideas in the article! (Source: PDA Gerbil)

The article includes the following highlights in great detail:
"• Basic strategy: don't be an easy target, and know what you want to secure
• Client-to-Router concerns
• Cracker-to-Router Access to the LAN/Internet
• Lock down must-dos
• Change the admin password and turn off remote management
• Turn off SSID Broadcast
• Change your SSID
• WEP: better than nothing
• Go MAC or manual: the Promised Land
• Disable DHCP, or limit it severely
• Little tricks"
